DNF on Stage 2.

Really enjoyed the puzzles on this one! We made it over to stage 3, and thought the container was great! However, I dont know about the locations of 2+3, as there is still likely to be an issue with the neighbors at stage 2. Its not on their property, but not publicly owned either. If someone explains it to them, they may not mind, but really don't think they needed to call the cops without even asking us what we were doing. Still, the style of all three stages was awesome. Thanks!!

Found this with 4wheelin_fool today. I had found Stage 1 over a year ago and deciphered the information there but needed to get a slight nudge to figure out what it meant, even after I deciphered. I didn't realize it had been so long since I found Stage 1 but realized when we stopped at the other nearby cache (which I also forgot to log) and saw what date I had visited [:o)]. I took 4WF over to Stage 1 so he could check it out. Last time I was here I approached from a different direction, parallel to the trail) and found it quickly but today we took the perpendicular approach and it took a little while to find it. I think the coordinates are fine but my GPS was just a bit jumpy in the jungle [;)]

I re-recorded the information at Stage 1 as I had not checked where the Stage 2 coordinates put me and was perplexed when I saw where they were, so I thought I had something wrong. But then I read the cache page and realized that you need to drive to the next stage so I figured it was probably correct.

We relocated to the second part and found a spot to park and headed in. I felt a little uncomfortable in this area and wanted to get the data for the next part and retreat quickly as I wasn't sure if it was public property. Apparently I had some intel on how this stage was hidden but I completely forgot what it was, so it took a few minutes to locate - the coordinates were very good however. This was cleverly done but I think I would have used a "mobile" object for reasons that I won't state here... We ended up just recording the info since I figured we could just solve it in the warmth of the car. As Mark mentioned we were questioned by the local police - I assume the nosy neighbor called them. The area has the appearance of being public based on the signs at the road, but maybe it isn't.

Anyway we retreated to dunkin donuts and I tried to solve the puzzle but was having trouble with the orientation. Came up with some numbers that seemed incorrect, so we moved along as we were headed to the Allentown area. I was able to solve this stage much more easily from the comfort of home a few days later.

We returned today for the final. After reading the logs, I was leery of parking in the obvious spot as I didn't want to deal with being questioned by police again, but there was actually an event today so we were able to park and blend in since there were other cars. Really there's no other place to park anywhere near here, so maybe the Space command could post legal parking nearby? Again I wasn't sure who owns this property, but didn't see any "posted" signs. We made our way over to the final and found it quickly. Very cool container, although I kind of wondered if it was supposed to "do" something, but maybe not? Great construction and artistry and it should be safe in this area. We signed in and recorded the code. Thanks for putting this challenging cache hunt together [:)]
